Objectives of the conference:
The IAI Thematic Virtual Academic Conference on “Challenges and Institutional Novelties in Forensic Science” aims to provide:
- academic and professional relationships between participants;
- interaction between experts in their respective fields and departments;
- opportunity for networking, cooperation and exchange of ideas and best practices in the field of forensic science;
- international environment for presentation of research results;
- opportunity for discussion about latest developments and challenges in the forensic science;
- identifying opportunities for evidence-based practice in optimizing forensic science research and development.

- Virtual Presentation (e-session): 29 EUR before March 1, 2022
- Late-bird registration fee after 1 March: 49 EUR
- Submission Deadline for Abstracts: March 15, 2022
- Submission Deadline for Final Paper: May 1, 2022.
The working language of the conference is English. The conference welcomes both paper and poster presentations by Ph.D. Students, scholars, and professionals. Submit your proposal/abstract or full paper electronically via email attachment to staff@ia-institute.com.
Notification of Acceptance
Within 5 days of receiving your proposal/abstract or full paper, we will contact you for a notification of acceptance or rejection. If your paper is accepted, additional conference and registration-specific information will be included.
All accepted papers/abstracts are double-blind peer-reviewed and will be published in our special edition of the IAI International Academic Journal.
The conference will take place online using www.zoom.us. The participants will receive more details about the online presentation upon their registration.
The participants that can’t attend the online conference may send us in advance their papers for viewing and discussion using Microsoft PowerPoint with narration (voice-over) or recorded video. In this case, the virtual presentation should be sent via www.wetransfer.com seven days prior to the date of the Conference.
Publication
Abstracts and full- length papers are published in our IAI editions: Book of abstracts: ISBN e-book and IAI International Academic Journal: ISSN e-book. You may find them on our web page: www.ia-institute.com in the respective sections.
Registration and Fees
The fee for the IAI Thematic Virtual Academic Conference on “Challenges and Institutional Novelties in Forensic Science” is:
- 29 EUR for Virtual presentations (e-sessions) before 1 March 2022 and
- 49 EUR for Virtual presentations (e-sessions) between 2-15 March 2022
The conference registration fee includes:
- Online participation at the conference;
- Conference program;
- Online publication in Book of Abstracts and IAI International Academic Journal;
- Certificate of presentation.
The conference will take place online using www.zoom.us. The participants will receive more details about the online presentation upon their registration.

Cancellation
- A full refund will be given for cancellations received before March 1, 2022.
- A 20 EUR administration fee is taken for cancellation
- No refund will be given for cancellations received after March 15, 2022.
